It emphasizes the need for intellectual humility and deliberate knowledge acquisition in the 21st century.

Introduction

The digital revolution has transformed how we find, consume, and interact with information. With a few taps on a smartphone, vast troves of human knowledge accumulated over centuries are available at our fingertips. However, as noted by Nicholas Carr in his seminal book The Shallows, this unprecedented access to information has also raised concerns about how the Internet is changing our cognitive abilities and reshaping our brains. As we navigate this sea of data now available online, we encounter a troubling paradox: while information is more abundant than ever, profound understanding seems increasingly elusive.
