Abstract
Temporal occlusion, the inability of consciousness to perceive future events, has been proposed as a vital restraint on human knowledge acquisition. This paper reviews the theoretical basis and implications of temporal occlusion. The occlusion of future knowledge is shown to be essential for counteracting entropy and enabling structured knowledge gain. Though intrinsically limiting, temporal occlusion carves order from chaos through gradual revelation.
Prologue: Grasping the Intangible
Temporal occlusion, a term as enigmatic as the phenomenon it encapsulates, describes the inherent boundaries set upon our consciousness in relation to time.
